Campaign Finance

Campaign Finance Reporting:

Ohio law requires that any candidate who will receive any contributions or make any expenditures must file a Designation of Treasurer Form to establish a campaign committee. This must be done prior to accepting any contributions or making any expenditures. This requirement includes candidates who are spending only personal funds. Once the campaign committee has been established, periodic reports will need to be submitted to the Board of Elections. The links below provide the forms and additional guidance needed to set up a campaign committee and complete the required reports. If further assistance is needed, please call the Board of Elections office.
